Our vision that all children and their families deserve to thrive is supported by our neighbors and partners in many ways. Non-cash donations of time, materials, services, and space provide vital assistance to our programs, and also assist us in meeting required matches to federal funding by 25 percent.
Donations that meet the federal match requirement are called “in kind” donations, and include items or services that are normally provided and paid for in support of our Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Some of these are:
- Art supplies
- Educational materials
- Educational toys or play items
- Professional services
- Classroom assistance
- Use of space for meetings or storage
The gift of time on our Board, Policy Council, and Community Advisory Groups may also help us meet our match and is always welcome.
Please contact us if you have an item or service you would like to donate. Thank you!
