Support Early Education with the St. Francis Fair!
Mark your calendars for the St. Francis Fair! This summer fundraiser is a great way to attend an annual community event, find new furniture and treasures for your home, and support early education programs in your community. This year the date will be Saturday, August 11th, 2012.
Every year St. Francis by the Sea Episcopal Church in Blue Hill Maine hosts a spectacular event with books, tools, hand crafted items, art, furniture, boats, and more. The Gentleman Grillers create delectable food items for purchase. There are also children’s activities with crafts and other projects. St. Francis also selects a non-profit partner to share in the work and the proceeds. This year Child and Family Opportunities, Inc. has been chosen to be the partner for the 2012 fair.
While these are early days yet, we are looking for people who would like to donate items to the St. Francis fair, or who would like to sign-up to volunteer help on the day of the fair and in set-up and clean-up. We will start accepting items to hold for the fair in May.

On-going Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteer in our Administrative Offices – We need help in our administrative office with a variety of tasks from filing to phone calling. If you have a few hours to volunteer each week, and have office experience or want to gain some, please consider this opportunity.
Volunteer with Facilities – We always aim to have attractive, effective, and efficient facilities, and maintaining these keeps our hands full! If you have a special skill with tools or paint, let us know and we will contact you with our facilities volunteer opportunities.
Volunteer in our Early Care and Education Centers - Our classrooms and kitchens always have room to welcome helping hands. Contact your nearest center to inquire about opportunities there, or sign up on our mailing list below to have a center manager contact you about opportunities to help.
