This animated mural called “Main Street”, along the corridor at Child and Family Opportunities, Inc. Early Childcare and Education Center was dedicated Sunday, November 23 to the memory of George Shepard, a 31-year member of the Child and Family Opportunities board who was working on the mural project at the time of his death this past summer. Marilyn Dowling of Jonesboro, a freelance artist who specializes in sign painting, illustration and cartooning, created the 145-foot work.
