Enrollment:
3 Preschool Classrooms of 18 children each, 3 and 4 year olds, Child Care and Child Care/Head Start
3 Infant/Toddler Classrooms of 8 children each, 6 weeks to 3 years old, Child Care and Child Care/Early Head Start

We actively encourage and facilitate participation of children of all abilities and their families. Our staff is trained in working with children with disabilities and local service providers to ensure that all children’s individual needs are met.

Calendar: Open all year for child care; September – May for Head Start

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m for Child Care and Child Care/Head Start and Child Care/Early Head Start

Meals: Healthy breakfast and lunch, served in the classroom family style, with teachers and children eating together; meals provided at no cost to parents.

Fees: Children enrolled in our Head Start or Pre-K programs attend at no cost

To assist families in paying for child care, we accept State of Maine child care subsidies including Voucher, ASPIRE, and Transitional Child Care (TCC). We also have a sliding fee and an in-house subsidy for eligible families. Call our enrollment office to get answers to all of your questions about subsidies and fees.

Transportation: While CFO does not provide transportation to any of the Head Start programs, we do have some funds available to assist Head Start eligible families with the cost of transportation.
