Summer Fun!

Preschooler Winter Kids

Flaherty Early Care and Education Center put on a Winter Kids event. The Winter Kids program challenges teachers to plan activities, both inside and out, that encourage kids to have fun and be active.

Infant-Toddler Winter Kids

Some parents and friends visit the Flaherty Infant-Toddler program to spend time playing with their little ones.

Pilot Program for Preschoolers

Flaherty Early Care and Education Center is part of a small cohort of preschool classrooms participating in a pilot program that is exploring the educational use of technology for young children. Here, preschool teacher and family advocate, Jamie Marshall, practices using a tablet in a small group setting of preschoolers.

October 14th was a great day for learning how to press apples to make apple cider. It was also a good day for tasting. Yum!

So Much Building Going On!

What do you do when there’s lots of building going on? You make it a teachable moment! Children watch the construction machines and discuss what they’re seeing with our wonderful teaching staff.
